Radio Shack Realistic TRC-212 service manual wanted

Still looking for one. I do have a schematic at least, but a service manual would be helpful. I need to fix one of my 212's that often times won't "start up". No RX/TX. Oscillator or PLL problem that's intermittent...more off than on, which is good I guess (for troubleshooting)!

  2. Brady- Did you ever get a TRC-212 service manual? I also have a 212 that works great...some of the time. On power-up, I often get a "low Batt" indication and very low audio, no omit. I know the power is good because I'm hooked up to external power. After a variable about of time, the radio "wakes up: and works great. Sounds like a flaky transistor to me. Any ideas? I'd love a copy of your 212 schematic if you are willing to share.

    Regards Dave
